The series

The Song was never meant for Ash

Ash is not a chosen hero. He is a kitchen slave with no reason to believe that his life will ever change. Then strange music begins to fill his mind.

When his best friend Kep is threatened, Ash cannot stand aside. Their escape draws them into a dangerous journey through divided cities, hidden lands and forgotten histories. The deeper Ash’s connection to the Song becomes, the harder it is to know whether the power is guiding him or consuming him.

Around them, old enemies are stirring. Friendships are tested. Allegiances shift. The cost of survival grows with every book.
